New Orleans Homecoming 2024 continued its mission of fostering
community, creativity, and equity by celebrating the city’s
unique culture and empowering its future leaders. This year,
we welcomed both a sophomore and freshman class, reflecting
our exciting growth and the increasing reach of our work.
We leaned deeply into the concept of imagination work,
positioning it as a transformative tool to envision and
construct a more equitable future. Beyond the creative
sessions, we built a strong sense of community through
celebratory traditions like yearbook pictures, class photos,
and intimate exclave moments that fostered connection and joy.
Together, these elements embodied the heart of New Orleans
Homecoming: a space where innovation, storytelling, and
collective imagination come together to honor the past and
shape the future.
